"Let's Make Spun Cotton Sheep" Kit

Welcome to the "Let's Make Spun Cotton Sheep" online class and kit by Full Moon Wares. I am so excited to share this project with you, and to guide you through the process of creating your own darling little flock of antique inspired spun cotton sheep.

In the tutorial you will learn the foundations of spun cotton art, including armature building, creating a cotton core, making cotton felt, finishing and sculpting techniques, as well as making glue wash and starch glue, and more. To create our sheep, we will be working with four of my favorite types of cotton, along with some of my other staple materials that I use when creating my pieces.

In the curated supplies kit, you will find the materials needed to make a flock of seven Spun Cotton Sheep (plus extra materials), just like I make. Finished sheep are approximately 2.5" tall and long. Some of the supplies include four types of cotton, vintage brass bells, an example photo postcard, and more.

The kit is accompanied by a 2.5 hour-long, in-depth, step-by-step video tutorial, hosted on YouTube. Soon after purchasing the kit, you will be emailed about accessing the video. You can watch the video as many times as you’d like.

This tutorial is appropriate for beginning and experienced spun cotton crafters alike.
