"Let's Make Halloween Cats in Jack-o-Lanterns" Kit
Welcome to the "Let's Make Halloween Cats in Jack-o-Lanterns" online video and kit by Full Moon Wares.
I am so excited to share this spun cotton project with you! I love making for Halloween, and have been wanting to do a figural animal class for a long time. This is my most detailed and in-depth online class to-date.
In the online video, I make this project approachable by breaking it down into a series of 15 steps that are easy to follow. During the crafting process, you will learn a variety of techniques such as armature construction, applying cotton to your armature, and painting and antiquing your cat and jack-o-lantern.
Included in the kit, you will find the supplies needed to make one Halloween cat in a jack-o-lantern, along with some extras. Some of the special materials in the kit include three types of cotton, a pumpkin form, real glass eyes, a selection of hand-dyed pom-poms and assorted ribbons so you can customize your piece, and more. The finished Halloween cat in the jack-o'-lantern is approximately 5 to 6 inches tall.
The video is a nearly 4 hour-long, in-depth, step-by-step tutorial that is hosted on YouTube. After purchasing the kit, you will be granted access to the private video. Access never expires, so you can watch the video as many times as you’d like.
This tutorial is my most detailed yet, it is appropriate for those with crafting experience, but spun cotton experience is not required.
If you would like to make one additional cat in jack-o-lantern, extra supplies kits are available.
