Welcome to the "Let's Make Snowman Candy Containers" online video and kit by Full Moon Wares.
This project will allow you to make two Snowman Candy Containers, which are perfect for gift giving or decorating this holiday season. This idea was inspired by antique paper mache candy containers that I love so much! I wanted to try to recreate those pieces, while also incorporating spun cotton, to bring you something both beautiful and functional. You can stash candies and other tiny treasures in both the snowman & his dapper top hat!
In the online video, I make this project approachable by breaking it down into a series of steps that are easy to follow. During the crafting process, you will learn a variety of techniques such as building a basic paper form container and applying spun cotton to add texture, and as well as painting, decorating, and other finishing techniques.
Included in the kit, you will find the supplies needed to make two complete Snowman Candy Containers, with each having a different color scheme. Some of the materials in the kit include pre-cut paper forms, mint and crimson velvet ribbons, cotton and cotton batting, specially chosen trims, mica glitter blend, and more. The finished Snowman Candy Containers are about 5.5 inches tall without a handle and 6.5 inches with a wire handle attached.
The video is an approximately 2.5 hour-long, in-depth, step-by-step tutorial that is hosted on YouTube. After purchasing the kit, you will be granted access to the private video. Access never expires, so you can watch the video as many times as you’d like.
This tutorial is appropriate for beginning and experienced crafters alike.
