“Let’s Make Spun Cotton Easter Eggs” Supplies Kit for "Vintage Easter Collection"
Welcome to the "Let's Make Spun Cotton Easter Eggs" supplies kit for "Vintage Easter Collection" by Full Moon Wares.
This listing is for the "Vintage Easter Collection" supplies kit designed to accompany the "Let's Make Spun Cotton Easter Eggs" video tutorial, available FREE on YouTube at this link.
This "Vintage Easter Collection" supplies kit will allow you to make a set of 12 beautiful spun cotton eggs inspired by the colors and images of vintage Easter postcards. The eggs fit perfectly inside the included quail egg carton, which can be customized with one of two vintage postcard stickers included in the kit.
In the free online video linked to above, I make this project approachable by breaking it down into a series of steps that are easy to follow, even if it's your first time crafting with spun cotton.
Included in the "Vintage Easter Collection" supplies kit, you will find specially curated materials for making nostalgic, hand-painted spun cotton Easter eggs. These materials include:
- 12 30mm spun cotton eggs
- Light grey egg carton
- 2 vintage postcard stickers
- 4 colors of hand dyed cotton (robins egg blue, violet, blush pink, natural white NOTE, colors are hand dyed so they may be some subtle variation)
- Craft paper shred Easter grass
- Starch glue recipe & potato starch
- Clay needle
- Eraser stamp
- Metallic gold gel pen
- Hand dyed pink ombre silk ribbon
- Photo postcard
- Full Moon Wares logo sticker
To complete the project, you'll need to supply paint, paintbrushes, and white glue.
This project is the perfect introduction to spun cotton, and it is enjoyable for beginning and experienced crafters alike.
