These charming, antique-inspired reindeer are entirely made using the Old World art of spun cotton. Each one is created by wrapping cotton around a wire armature, stiffening it with glue wash, painting, and intentionally aging for a timeworn effect. All reindeer are finished with a light frosting of mica glitter, a hand-dyed bottle brush wreath and ribbon, a vintage brass bell, and some are adorned with packages.

The reindeer are made to stand on their own, and each one is approximately 5.5" tall and 5.5" wide, depending on their pose. 

Each piece comes packaged in a gift box with a hand-dyed silk ribbon.

These are the same reindeer that can be made with my "Let's Make Spun Cotton Reindeer" online class and kit.
